The most recent company Buffett purchased was Burlington Northern for $34 billion, which is the biggest acquisition of his life. By purchasing Burlington Northern, Buffett is betting on the United States economy making a comeback. Moving materials by railroad is much more cost effective than by trucks. Buffett is a man who has many followers and he has given hope to people by making this encounter on America.Warren Buffett plans to give away 85% of his fortune to charities and foundations, most of it going to the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. He is a truly generous man and cares deeply about the people of America.
